Korean Base Camp

The picture was taken from a U.S. Army 0-1 "Bird Dog"
during an early afternoon observation mission.

The Koreans removed virtually all vegetation to provide
exceptionally clear fields of fire.  Then, they ringed
their camp with several layers of barbed wire.

Korean Base Camp

This picture was taken early evening while returning to
Camp Trung Dung after western AO observation mission.

During this time of day, the Koreans put additional
sentries in positions circling their mountain top position
nicknamed "The Citadel."

Korean Taekwondo Demonstration

Like A-502, the Koreans were active in the village
communities around their base.  This was a taekwondo
demonstration at a nearby school.

It is clear from this picture that the demonstration was
well attended by the school children who watched as
it was done the hard way.
